Birchwood & Bark Dog Bed Medical-Grade Composite Leather Warranty
At Birchwood & Bark, we proudly stand behind the quality of our dog beds. Our medical-grade composite leather components are warranted for five years from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects and faults.
Warranty Coverage
- Eligibility: Available exclusively to the original purchaser and non-transferable. Applies only to products purchased new from an authorized Birchwood & Bark dealer or our official online store.
- Coverage: Defects in the material integrity of the medical-grade composite leather shell, such as cracking or delamination.
- Foam core: Covered by a 10-year warranty. The core must retain at least 90% of its original buoyancy under normal use.
- Exclusions: Stitching and zippers. Damage due to abuse, misuse, vandalism, inadequate maintenance, unsuitable environmental conditions, improper cleaning agents, external contaminants, or rough dog use such as biting, chewing or excessive digging. Additional finishes or treatments applied after purchase void the warranty. Changes in personal comfort preferences. Commercial usage.
Customer Responsibilities
Maintain the dog bed according to the Birchwood & Bark Care and Maintenance Guide.
Claims Process
To make a warranty claim, the original purchaser must provide:
- Proof of purchase.
- Item or pictures showing the defect.
- Address and contact details.
If our medical-grade composite leather does not perform as expected when used and maintained correctly, we will replace the defective component free of charge and cover the shipping. We reserve the right to a minimum of 30 days to resolve disputes.
Limitation of Liability
This warranty is the sole warranty for our medical-grade composite leather. Any implied warranties, including those of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded. Our liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. Incidental, consequential, or punitive damages are not covered.
Refunds
Warranty claims are resolved by replacement of the defective component rather than a cash refund. If you want a refund within the first 14 nights of delivery, see our Return and Refund Policy and the 14-Night Guarantee.
